How the suction bag is installed?
Suction bag is easiest to install with a help of vacuum. Unfold the suction bag and place it into the suction canister, turn on the suction source, the suction bag will be inflated. Close the patient connector with your finger and wait until the desired vacuum is established and the bag is fully inflated
Where should I place the suction canister?
There are several mounting options for canisters like movable trolley and brackets for installing it either on the wall.
What does Single Connection mean?
Single connection system means that there is only one place to connect the patient tube. This ensures error free and fastest installation of suction bag.
Can I install 2000 ml suction bag into the 3500 ml canister?
No, the suction bag has to be installed into a suction canister of equal size. In addition, there is a difference in 2000 ml and 3500 ml bag lid structure that makes the assembly of bag and canister of different volumes impossible.
How can I be sure that the system is ready for operation once I have installed it?
Just check that the bag is fully inflated and that the vacuum is created.
Using Suction bag
How long can I use the same suction bag?
Due to the hygiene and safety reasons the suction bag must be replaced after every patient or once in 24 hours if the bag is used e.g. in ICU.
Do I need to change canisters after each procedure?
No, canisters are reusable. Once taken into use you don’t need to re-install them.
What happens when the suction bag becomes full?
Each suction bag is equipped with filter which automatically closes the suction when the bag becomes full.
What do I need to do after the procedure?
After the suction procedure disconnect the patient tube and white angle connector and close the connection with the patient connector plug provided on the lid of the suction bag. Turn off the vacuum. Lift the suction bag using the handle on the lid and dispose the bag properly
How do I dispose used products?
Dispose the used products in accordance with recycling labeling and hospital-specific instructions.
Solidifying agent
What is solidifying agent?
Solidifying agent is superabsorbent polymer which absorbs large amount of liquid. It makes the suctioned liquid solid.
Why it is used in suction bag?
It brings the users extra safety and makes transferring the used bag easier. It can also reduce significantly the hospitals waste management costs.
Serial Connection
Do I need a special bag to make a serial connection?
No, owing to the product compatibility and serial tube design the standard bag can be used for serial connection.
What does serial connection mean?
Serial connection allows you to expand suction capacity by connecting several suction bags in chain.
Does the liquid run automatically to the next bag in serial connection?
Yes, it does. No user intervention is needed.
How many canisters can I connect in series at one time?
When using Suction system, you can connect up to 4 canisters in series.
